Draper Historic Theatre is proud to present our 2023 season. Season Ticket Holders will be able to select their seats and date of the performance for each production. Holders will recieve the ability to select their seat and performance prior to tickets go on sale to the public. You will receive discounts on concessions, discounted tickets to non DHT productions. You will also have a direct number to our General Manager.
The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
Draper Historic Theatre is excited to announce virtual auditions for our upcoming production of "Rodgers and Hammerstein's, Cinderella!" WHAT TO PREPARE: We will only being doing virtual auditions for this production. Please create an account on Casting Manager and submit a video of you singing 1 minute of a broadway song in the style of the show with accompaniment. Please no acapella singing.
VIRTUAL AUDITION DEADLINE: December 26th
WHO: All ages, genders, body types and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition. We would love to have a cast full of diversity. All roles are available.
REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin January 10th and are scheduled weeknights from 7:00-10:00 PM and Saturday 9:00-2:00 PM. Participants are only asked to come to rehearsal when they are needed that day. The schedule will be created based off of cast conflicts following auditions.
PERFORMANCES: Performances will take place at 7:00 PM March 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, 20, 24 & 25 and at 2:00 PM on March 18 & 25. Many roles will be double cast.
ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE: CINDERELLA- has the purest heart living in a cruel world FAIRY GODMOTHER- an enchanting motherly figure STEPMOTHER- the cold-hearted stepmother of Cinderella GRACE - her awkward stepsister JOY - her sullen stepsister CHRISTOPHER - a charming young prince LIONEL - his royal steward QUEEN CONSTANTINA - his mother KING MAXIMILLIAN - his father CHARLES - a cat who will become a Coachman 4 WHITE MICE - who will become Horses A DOVE - who will become a Footman ADULT & CHILDREN ENSEMBLE: VILLAGERS, MERCHANTS, MAIDENS AND PALACE GUESTS

Over 26 years of improvising and making audiences laugh late nights at the Off Broadway Theatre! Our improv is family-friendly and we recommend it to ages 8 years and up! Audience participation is highly recommended! You give us ideas and suggestions, our emcee throws it at us and we put out comedy on the spot! Nothing rehearsed, just on-the-spot comedy!

Draper Historic Theatre is a non-profit theatre which relies on the support of our friends and patrons. As you know, the COVID-19 has negatively impacted all community theatre groups in Utah and Draper Historic Theatre is no exception.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, our 2020 season has been postponed and potentially canceled. As over 70% of our income comes from ticket sales, Draper Historic Theatre is running low on funds it desperately needs for basic operations!!
